Words Have Meanings
There is a bunch of phrases that I've grown particularly tired of hearing or reading or writing. This year has been tough for many reasons, but I'd like to complain about some stuff that won't affect my life other than annoying me by their continued usage.
The Walls Are Closing In!
This seems to be the go to for trying to get resistance types to click on a video or news article about the 45th and 47th President of the United States. At first it seemed to indicate that the end of the chaos caused by 45/47 was eminent, but as time has continued to march on with little hope for actual change in regards to the balance of power in the US Government. The American People voted in an actual felon to lead the Executive Branch and we will be paying for it for the foreseeable future. Where the walls are don't matter unless he is in the corner already. In reality, the president sits in the middle of the room surrounded by sycophants that keep the power imbalance in place.
See You Next Time!
I will always think of my Father saying, "How are they gonna see me?" at the conclusion of some show on TV.
Artificial Intelligence
It's neither. I still prefer "Real Dumb" when it comes to the current state of the collections of algorithms that modern technology has dubbed "AI". The technology is real, and although it appears to mimic intelligence at first glance, the more that I've learned about the actual reality, it is quite different. When capitalists try to create value out of something that is generated by these programs, I believe that it actually damages the economic system by devaluing the products they are creating with the Real Dumb software. Why pay for art that you can simulate with your own hardware?

Brotherhood should be encouraged, not derided.
